The Author: Dr. Ts’gye Rachel Titilayo Leslie is a Pan-African scholar born in Paris, France of Jamaican and Nigerian parents, she was educated in the United States at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and Ludwig Maximillian University in Munich, Germany, Obafemi Awolowo University under the guidance of Wole Soyinka and the Ifa priesthoods of Yoruba religion, and finally at Howard University where she was awarded the Doctor of Ministry for her studies on the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church after studying with the support of the late patriarch His Holiness Abuna Paulos and with the permission of the present patriarch His Holiness Abuna Matthias.
