Luca Amayo is a political strategist and campaign veteran who has led public affairs for high-stakes candidates and causes at every level of government.

He began his career with a K Street lobbying firm where he specialized on clean energy projects for some of the nation’s leading energy companies, trade associations and organizations. His campaign experience includes serving as spokesperson for Governor Wes Moore in his historic bid to become Maryland’s first Black governor; for former Mayor Sheila Dixon, the first Black woman to lead a major American city; and for the Maryland Democratic Party in the coordinate campaign to elect Angela Alsobrooks as the first Black woman to represent Maryland in the U.S. Senate alongside other frontline Maryland Democrats.
