About the author:

Khazmik Sankofa is a passionate advocate for holistic living, meditation, and social justice. While attending  Howard University Khazmik was inspired to create positive change on his campus by starting an organic garden. He spent countless hours cultivating the land, teaching others about sustainable gardening practices, and providing fresh produce to the campus community.

In addition to his work with the garden, Khazmik also became an avid practitioner of meditation and holistic living. He recognized the profound impact that these practices had on his own wellbeing and was eager to share them with others. Khazmik began teaching meditation and hosting workshops on mindfulness and holistic living, helping others find balance and peace in their lives.

Khazmik’s  dedication to social justice and community development led him to become involved with both a monastic community and the Ausar Auset Society. Through these organizations, Khazmik was able to deepen his spiritual practice while also connecting with other like-minded individuals who were committed to making a difference in the world.

Above all, Khazmik is driven by his commitment to the development of the black community. He believes that by working together, we can create a world that is more just, equitable, and sustainable for all. Whether he is tending to his garden, leading a meditation session, or advocating for social change, Khazmik is always striving to make a positive impact in the world around him.

About the event:

This book signing will be about applying spiritual principles and practices in our daily lives for the upliftment and development of the black community. Join us for an evening of discussion and application of healing and metaphysical principles that we can apply now to see immediate change and balance in our lives.

Brother Khazmik will introduce and discuss spiritual principles and practices that can be found in melanated communities the world over as well as introduce an ancient melanated oracle system. Brother Alo will make evident how said principles are expressed through the daily lives of people in pursuit of wellness. He will also present several of his handcrafted time-tested remedies for health and well-being.

This event is not only a discussion but a workshop that will demonstrate to people the effectiveness of the practices of Holistic living and meditation for the upliftment of the community.
