About the Authors 

Elder Michael D. Campbell is an independent consultant, and  co-founder of NSROP, LLC. NSROP, LLC is a consulting firm  specializing in culturally responsive programming for Black  youth and families in Rochester, New York. Elder Campbell is a  former college professor teaching African American Studies, and The Black Family at Monroe Community College and Brockport State University in upstate New York. His background  also includes youth and family development programming and  staff training with non-profit agencies. He is a strong advocate  for Black men, Black Fathers, and the Black Family.


Eldress Jackie Campbell is a cofounder of NSROP, LLC. She spent more than 4 decades in the public  and non-profit sector in leadership roles supporting youth and families in Rochester, New York. Eldress Campbell’s  specializes in engaging Black families, and she is a strong  advocate for Black women, Black families, and the Black community.
