About The Event
“Shifters“, written by Benedict Lombe, tells the story of Dre and Des, who navigate between being lovers and friends. Both of African heritage, raised in South London but forced to relocate to North England due to varying circumstances.
About Christian
Christian Sahle-Selassie is an American-born Ethiopian. At the age of 8, he moved to England where his education in the theatre was nurtured through performance in plays and musicals. In high school, he developed his talents winning London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art awards in performance and touring Shakespeare’s Othello in Beijing, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, and Singapore. After graduating, Christian was accepted to study Drama at the Oxford School of Drama and was represented by the Waring and Mckenna agency.
Christian attend the University of Virginia as part of the first group of Colbert Art Scholars. He studied English Literature and Drama performing and producing theatre.…
