Since 2006, Crescent Moon Night has been a beacon for artistic expression and community connection in the heart of D.C. Hosted at the beloved Sankofa Bookstore & Café; culturally rich and creatively nurturing space—this event has welcomed thousands over the years to share their voices, stories, and talents through the performing and creative arts.
Join us at D.C.’s longest-running Saturday Night Open Mic!Whether you're a poet, musician, comedian, or simply a lover of the arts, Crescent Moon Nights offers the stage, the lights, and the sound system—you bring the magic.
