This year in collaboration with Sankofa Video Books & Café, come join us at one of Georgia Avenue’s flagship Black-owned businesses as we do some storytelling about Juneteenth, mutual aid organizing through the years and the powerful, enduring strength (and softness) of Black joy. Free food and drink (including ice cream from Here’s the Scoop and watermelon) will be available while they last!
