The Vegetarian Fox is a delightful tale that explores the challenges of inter-personal relationships through the eyes of a lovable character with a unique perspective. It invites children to reflect, relate, and realize that they are not alone in their experiences. Because every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and understood, we’re on a mission to break the stigma, one story at a time.
With over 25 years of experience in obstetrical nursing, behavioral health, and education, Sumayya (Odyssey) Lane brings a lifetime of compassion and expertise to the world of children’s literature. A former Nurse Educator with the DC Department of Behavioral Health and holder of an advanced degree in Nursing, she now leads Free Your Mind Productions as a publisher committed to supporting young minds through powerful, culturally relevant stories.
