About the Author

Kasan Da Julah, aka Kasan I Supreme, was born in the Bronx, New York, to Jamaican immigrant parents, making him a first-generation Jamaican-American. The Bronx, just uptown from the birthplace of the Harlem Renaissance, carries its own rich tapestry of artists, musicians, poets, and revolutionaries. Though raised in a culturally vibrant environment, it was during his formal education in Uniondale, Long Island, that he was first introduced to the knowledge of self—a spark that ignited a lifelong journey of self-reflection, spiritual exploration, and enlightenment. For over 25 years, Kasan has walked many paths in pursuit of wisdom, immersing himself in diverse spiritual and philosophical traditions, including Rastafari, the Five Percent Nation of Gods and Earths, Buddhism, Christianity, Hebrew Israelite teachings, esoteric sciences, and even the sacred halls of Freemasonry.
