Our story begins with a young girl named Taraji who is apprehensive about going to school. Her mother, in a moment of reflection, affectionately recounts her own experience of attending Howard University through a bedtime song. As Taraji dreams of attending Howard University, young readers are encouraged to think about their own dreams and aspirations.  Inspired by her mother's words Taraji develops a newfound enthusiasm for going to school. Dr. Wednesday Boateng (née Akua Aidoo) is an inspiring author and periodic homeschooling mother of four from New Orleans who proudly embraces her rich Ghanaian heritage.
