About The Event
Edmund Ghareeb is an internationally known academic, Journalist and writer on Iraq, Kurds, media coverage Of the Palestine-Israel conflict, the Information Technology revolution in the Arab world, the Arabic language Pressing the US and on ethnic an religious identity and US foreign policy. He has taught at Georgetown University in Washington and Qatar, George Washington University, the University of Virginia, Pepperdine University and McGill University in Canada.He received his BA from American International College and his MA and Ph.D from Georgetown.He is a senior scholar at the Jerusalem Fund and the Washington Institute for Peace and development
Ghareeb wa the American University's Center for Global Peace's first Mustafa Barzani Distinguished Scholar in Global Kurdish Studies.
