About The Event
Nadia Alahmed is a Palestinian scholar, educator and activist. Her research revolves around Black Radical Thought and Politics, critical hip Hopo studies, Black Internationalism and the political, historical and cultural connections between Black America and the Middle East.
Dante O’Hara is an organizer, scientist, and writer. He is the outgoing organizing director for the Claudia Jones School for Political Education, which is a DC-based popular education organization. Dante is also a part of the recently formed DC for Ceasefire Now Coalition which is fighting for a DC Council resolution against the genocidal policy of the Biden Administration.
