About The Event
In partnership with Sankofa Video, Books & Café and ARTIVISM
This is the spirit of ARTIVISM—a creative production company that exists at the intersection of artistry and activism. ARTIVISM supports local talent through recording studio services, event production, branding, and custom merchandise design—including collaborations with Sankofa and WPFW 89.3 FM, both legendary cultural institutions committed to truth-telling and liberation.
But ARTIVISM is more than a service—it’s a philosophy. One rooted in the belief that the art we engage with each day shapes how we move through the world. When we surround ourselves with works that elevate, challenge, and affirm us, we begin to reimagine the systems around us—and our place within them. In this way, art becomes both mirror and map: a reflection of who we are, and a blueprint for the world we’re building together.
