About The Event

About the book:

Dubbed the female Alex Haley... but this was not the life she chose for herself.

Unemployment brings horrible flashbacks that Victoria Gregg would much rather forget. So when her supervisor slides termination papers across the table, Victoria can think of nothing but the dreams and warning signs that predicted this moment. Convinced that she will never work again unless she finds her ancestors. Victoria chooses to follow her dreams.

“The poem is beautiful... It provides a hint of curiosity about what the story might be about. Who is this colored girl, and what is she running from? You want to keep on reading to discover more...” - customer review.

In the first three years of her research, using outstanding detective work, she discovers that her surname originates from a slave owner and part of his plantation is still preserved in Mars Bluff, South Carolina.

Follow Victoria as she goes on a fulfilling and emotional journey to discover her Kunta Kinte and receive two important apologies that change her and your life forever.

Victoria’s mission is to tell the world of these apologies and spark great racial healing in the United States of America.
