A Generation Found: The Journey Continues is filled with inspirational storytelling and poignant photos of amazing African American elders ages 78 to 110. Roohee Marshall traveled throughout the United States to visit over 50 elders ranging from civil rights heroes to nationally known business and community officials to military officers to social workers to schoolteachers to church leaders. These resilient seniors bring the reader into their homes to share their personal life stories filled with service, devotion, and determination.

About the author: 

Roohee Marshall is a passionate mission-driven author/photographer whose own personal journey led to a wonderful discovery -- the wisdom passed down by her elders and the community of elders in the spirit of the ancestors. Roohee published A Generation Found: Precious Pearls of Wisdom in July 2020 in the midst of a global pandemic. With her background in medical and holistic health, it's no surprise that healing would come to a complex world through Roohee. Roohee recognized a gap in the fiber of society and filled it with the wisdom of the ages. In Volume II of her series A Generation Found: The Journey Continues, Roohee continues to preserve the rich history that has been passed down by our treasured elders and ancestors in a beautiful work that honors the elders of our society and brings forth their wisdom at a time when it is desperately needed.
