Baba's, Babies & Books: A Sankofa Babacue!
It's a family affair this Baba's Day at Sankofa! Join us for book readings, food, games, martial arts demonstrations, "babacue" and more-all in the name of Black fathers and their families. Purchasing a donation ticket will allow us to giveaway books as well!

About The Event
Starting at 1:30pm we'll have a presentation by Jerome Matiyas, author and creator of the Mekonnen comic book and puzzle series.
Starting at 3pm enjoy a live performance from the main Baba himself, Baba Bomani AKA. Baba Got Bars
Enjoy outside festivities like Capoeira demonstrations, free food, Chess & Mancala a photo booth and more!
