Description/Synopsis:
After Winter: Sterling Brown is a film honoring the famous African-American poet, whose artistic contribution depicts the dignity of the Black community. The film portrays the importance of the elderly as the keepers of history and the significance of their role in passing on the heritage to young people. As a Department of Radio, Television & Film project at Howard University, film students not only learned the techniques of filmmaking, they also learned of their heritage through interaction with one of the strongest links in Black culture, Sterling Brown.
